Department Lead - IT Infrastructure Demand and Project Management

Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
  • Guidance to the named responsible functions globally
  • Controlling global IT Infrastructure Project Portfolio
  • Planning and steering global IT Infrastructure initiatives
  • Guiding and coaching the team in the following areas:
  • Management of IT Infrastructure Demands
  • Management of IT Infrastructure Project Portfolio
  • Management of IT Infrastructure Program / Projects worldwide
  • Operate governance and policies for IT Infrastructure Solutions
  • Operate of IT Infrastructure methodology of Demand and Project Management
  • Consult value added Demand / Solution / Project Management process to Operation
  • Initiate IT Infrastructure projects for global IT Infrastructure and Operations
  • Support business projects for DEKRA customers, Interface to IT Demand Management
  • Support the IT Infrastructure Delivery units with market initiatives
  • Reporting to the global IT Management, Steering committees
  • Report to the global IT Infrastructure & Operations Management
  • Ensure architectural, security and economic requirements
  • Ensure business case, project, time, resource- and financial planning

  • Studies in IT engineering or a similar field of study, similar fields of experiences
  • Good knowledge of IT Infrastructure services and technologies
  • Management level or at least 2 years’ experience in managing international IT departments
  • Leadership experiences in communication and information on corporate business level
  • Experience with IT project management and methodology
  • Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
  • Certain certifications like ITIL, CoBiT, IPMA, PMI, QM
  • International and intercultural skills
  • Analytical mind to understand complex challenges
  • Customer and solution oriented
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Team player
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
