What you will be doing:

  • You define and manage organizational framework for enterprise-wide SAM
  • You document licenses and agreements in the DEKRA License Management Tool
  • You monitor the license compliance situation for the entire/global company on regular basis and recognize shortfalls and over coverage situations
  • You conduct internal license audits and support with external audits
  • You support DEKRA Group companies in calculating licenses requirements based on metric
  • You advise and support Procurement in software acquisitions and renewals
  • You optimize usage of existing licenses
  • You monitor market for licensing issues and changes in licensing metrics

What makes you the best fitting candidate:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any other comparable qualification
  • Experience in the area of software licensing/software asset management and software audits
  • Experience in working with large software providers would be preferred.
  • Technical expertise in the area of server and client software environment.
  • Good analytical skills and structured way of approaching challenges.
  • Strong communication skills and persuasiveness in connection with intercultural sensitivity
  • Good German Skills
