People Care Manager

The People Care Manager (PCM) is responsible for ensuring employee well-being, enhancing workplace culture, and increasing employee satisfaction. The PCM supports both leaders and employees in managing personal and professional challenges, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
Management and Decision-Making:
- Develop proposals for setting performance goals in close collaboration with the Functional Manager.
- Actively participate in employee performance evaluations and regularly review performance expectations with the Functional Manager.
- Ensure employees' positive mental state, facilitate conflict resolution, provide suggestions, and act as a moderator in problem-solving.
- Approve leave and home office requests, considering organizational policies.
- Understand local and global corporate strategy and provide guidance to employees accordingly.
- Make proactive suggestions to improve operational efficiency.
- Manage, update, and annually review policies, guidelines, and process descriptions for relevance and compliance.
- Develop proposals for terminations and promotions.
Financial Duties:
- Participate in the annual salary review.
- Coordinate salary increase processes, liaising with relevant stakeholders and the employee.
Employee Experience and Engagement:
- Actively contribute to enhancing the employee experience and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Regularly collect feedback from employees and develop proposals to improve the work environment. Conduct and analyze engagement interviews, post-probation interviews, and exit interviews.
- Strengthen the feedback culture.
Onboarding and Offboarding:
- Engage creatively and operationally in onboarding and offboarding processes, identifying and resolving issues after the probation period.
- Provide support to employees during the offboarding process.
Communication:
- Clarify changes and maintain an open-door policy for employees.
- Support internal communication and help employees understand communications related to changes.
- Collaborate with the communication specialist to define a common communication strategy. Identify important communication milestones together.
- Maintain effective communication and close collaboration with Functional Managers.
- Promote a culture of appreciation and recognition by celebrating achievements and milestones.
Mentoring and Coaching:
- Provide coaching sessions to support employees' mental health, based on capacity. Refer to appropriate professionals if necessary.
- Support the communication, marketing, and organization of mentor programs and address any related issues.
Training and Development:
- Support training needs and development programs.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary adjustments.
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility):
- Monitor employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, social events, and recognition programs (actively participate in the Volunteer team).
- Organize 1-2 team-building CSR activities annually with the Volunteer team.

- At least 1-2 years' experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- University degree in psychology, human resource management or another relevant field.

- Taking education and self-development as a fundamental part of your routine
- Thinking that a workplace is not just a place to work, but a social environment as well
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency in HR Successfactors software and other relevant technology tools is a plus.
- Certification in HR management or related field is a plus.
