Team leader / Captain of Value Stream Command & Control Center

DEKRA IT are oriented to the Unfix model for the Captain Role.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
  • Responsible in the role of Captain for a Value Stream with up to 14 Crewmembers
  • Represent and ensure tracking and reporting over the activities and status of all events managed in the value stream CCC
  • Responsible to develop the Value Stream work as a service and prepare a chargeable service offering to other departments within DEKRA
  • Drive projects within the departments based on the IT Strategy
  • Support and ensure proper headcount, cost and CAPEX planning based on service-oriented planning processes in alignment with the accountable Governance Crew
  • Support the discipline leadership teams in all topics related to the hiring process in alignment between the Care Manager and the Governance Crew
  • Align the internal process together with other Bases and Crews to improve the cooperation between the Bases and Crews
  • Responsible to monitor, motivate and develop the team along agreed KPI's and to achieve/keep the necessary skill level

  • Owning skills at least 4+ years’ experience in running teams in an international IT service provider, leading people / teams, a dynamic, optimistic, motivating character with distinct functional leadership qualities, project experience and skills for stakeholder management, excellent communication skills, willingness to travel
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Hungarian and English language level C1 (German is an additional benefit)
  • Believing that the whole is more than the sum of its parts: a.k.a. teamwork is essential to move forward,
  • Being eager to share knowledge across departments and being open to acquire knowledge from others too,
