2. JOB OBJECTIVE:

As the Group Executive Vice President (EVP) of Global Marketing & Sales, you will play a pivotal role in leading and orchestrating the entire Marketing and Sales community of 2,000 associates in more than 50 countries, within our dynamic technical services organization.
You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic vision and direction for the marketing and sales activities of the Group.
You will lead a diverse and talented team of marketing and sales professionals across all dimensions of the matrix, including services and geographies.
You will work closely with the COO, the executive committee, and the regional and service line leaders to drive: top line-growth that is higher than that of the competition, a cost-effective sales and marketing function, market presence and customer satisfaction, in a highly competitive and dynamic market through strategic initiatives and effective leadership.

4. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:

    • • Develop and execute a comprehensive global marketing and sales strategy aligned with the organization's overall objectives.
    • • Provide visionary leadership to the Marketing and Sales community, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high-performance.
  • 2. Customer-Centric Approach:
    • • Champion a customer-centric mindset across marketing and sales functions, ensuring that strategies and campaigns align with customer needs and expectations.
    • • Engage with critical customers.
  • 3. Innovation and Technology Integration:
    • • Own global Marketing & Sales processes supported by a variety of global tools.
    • • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations, incorporating them into marketing and sales strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
    • • Enhance digital customer interaction to win in the market place.

    • • Oversee marketing and sales functions across all dimensions of the matrix, ensuring seamless collaboration between various service lines and geographical regions.

    • • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives.
    • • Provide regular reports to the executive leadership team, detailing progress, challenges, and recommended adjustments.
  • 8. Risk Management:
    • • Identify potential risks and challenges in the global marketing and sales landscape, developing and implementing proactive mitigation strategies.

5. EXPERIENCE:

Track record
  • • Proven leadership experience in a global marketing and sales role within a technical services organization.
  • • Strong understanding of matrix management in a multinational context.
  • • Track record of successfully leading large teams across diverse geographies.
  • • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
    Willingness and ability to travel 50-100 days a year, both domestically and internationally.

6. EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Academic background
  • • A bachelor's or master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • • Extensive experience in senior leadership roles within global marketing and sales, preferably in technical services industries.
  • • Proven success in driving revenue growth and market expansion on a global scale.
  • • Proficient English. German and additional languages are an asset.
