Onsite IT Support Technician

Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
  • Provide deskside, hands-on IT support for office and users: PCs/laptops, peripherals, printers, meeting room AV system, and mobile devices.
  • Install, configure, and maintain Windows 10/11 clients and standard enterprise software (e.g., Microsoft 365/Office, collaboration tools).
  • Handle incident and service requests via the ITSM tool (ticket ownership, prioritization, escalations, timely resolution, user communication).
  • Document and execute Joiner–Mover–Leaver tasks: account setup, hardware provisioning, access rights (in coordination with central IT).
  • Perform hardware troubleshooting (component swaps, imaging), hardware IMAC (Install, Movie, Add and Change), basic network patching (LAN ports, VLAN info from network team), and peripheral setup.
  • Coordinate with 2nd/3rdlevel teams (End-user, Infrastructure, Networ
  • k, Security) and external vendors when escalation is required.
  • Support VIPs and business critical events (executive meetings, townhalls) on site.
  • Maintain asset inventory accuracy (loaners, spares, returns) and contribute to knowledge base articles and SOPs.
  • Uphold IT security and compliance guidelines during daily operations (e.g., encryption, patching, secure disposal).

  • Owning skills at least 2+ years’ work experience in Onsite/Desktop Support or a similar end-user support role, strong troubleshooting skills across Windows clients, Microsoft 365/Office, basic Active Directory (password resets, group membership), and common enterprise apps, working knowledge of PC imaging, drivers, BIOS/UEFI, printers, and conference room technologies (Teams/Zoom/room systems), familiarity with ticketing/ITSM tools and SLA-driven support, excellent customer service, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Nice to have: basic networking (DHCP/DNS, Wi Fi, cabling), endpoint security experience, or MDM (e.g., Intune), hands on experience in larger, global environments and cooperation with centralized IT.
  • Completed studies in computer science, or a comparable professional experience
  • Fluent English (additional local language/German is a plus).
