Purpose of the Role
We are looking for a 2nd Level IT Support Specialist with a strong focus on Microsoft Intune to support and operate managed Windows and mobile endpoints in a global enterprise environment. The role is hands on and operational, with most of the workload on Intune based Windows device management, gradually expanding into mobile device management (MDM). This position acts as the technical Intune L2 layer between Service Desk and engineering teams.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
Microsoft Intune Operations (Core Focus)
  • Operate and support Microsoft Intune for Windows 11 devices (policies, profiles, compliance, application delivery)
  • Troubleshoot Intune related issues such as:
  • Enrollment and re enrollment problems
  • Policy and configuration profile conflicts
  • Compliance and conditional access impacts
  • App deployment and update failures
  • Support and operate Windows Autopilot device provisioning and resets
  • Gradual involvement in Intune MDM for mobile devices (Android / iOS) as scope expands
2nd Level Support & Incident Handling
  • Act as 2nd level support for endpoint management topics related to Intune
  • Handle escalations from Level 1 and perform advanced technical analysis
  • Decide when escalation to Level 3 / engineering is required and provide structured handover
  • Own and manage the L2 ServiceNow queue for Intune related tickets and ensure SLA compliance
Endpoint Security & Identity Integration
  • Support endpoint security baselines and configurations via Intune
  • Work with Entra ID (Azure AD) identities, device objects, and access issues
  • Support integration topics with Defender for Endpoint in daily operations (alerts, device health, onboarding issues)
Operational Excellence
  • Support Windows feature updates, quality updates, and Intune configuration changes
  • Maintain and improve knowledge base articles for Service Desk and L1 teams
  • Cooperate closely with endpoint engineering, security, and global IT teams

  • Owning skills at least 3+ years’ work experience in 2nd level support for Microsoft Intune–managed environments, Strong hands on knowledge of Microsoft Intune (Windows focus), Windows 11 in enterprise environments, Entra ID (Azure AD), device join models, user/device relations, Solid troubleshooting skills for modern workplace / endpoint management scenarios, Experience with ITSM tools, ideally ServiceNow, Basic PowerShell skills for troubleshooting and operational support
  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable professional qualification
  • Very good English skills (German is a plus)
