Purpose of the Role
To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a software developer (m/f/d) with a strong focus on backend development within the Microsoft ecosystem. The focus is on developing modern, cloud-based applications, stable interfaces, and automating build, deployment, and infrastructure processes in Azure.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
  • Development and further development of backend components based on .NET / .NET Core
  • Design, implementation, and maintenance of REST / JSON APIs
  • Integration of systems via defined interfaces
  • Implementation of CI/CD pipelines and deployments using Microsoft Azure DevOps
  • Development, operation, and scaling of applications in the Azure Cloud
  • Creation and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions with Terraform
  • Design and implementation of database solutions and data management concepts
  • Conducting data analyses to support technical and business decisions
  • Collaboration with architecture, operations, and business teams

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable professional qualification
  • Fluent English required; additional languages like German are a plus
Technical Requirements (Must-have)
Software Development & Backend
  • Several years of experience in backend development
  • Strong knowledge of: C#, .NET / .NET Core
  • Experience with service-oriented architectures
Interfaces & Integration
  • Solid experience in interface development
  • Proficient in: RESTful APIs, JSON-based interfaces, Error handling and status concepts (HTTP, logging)
DevOps & Deployment
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, including: Repositories, Build & release pipelines
  • Practical knowledge in: CI/CD, Automated deployments, Versioning and artifact management
Cloud & Infrastructure
  • Experience in application development within the Azure environment, e.g.: App Services, Functions, Storage, Containers
  • Strong knowledge of Terraform: Creation and maintenance of IaC templates, Use of Terraform in Azure setups
Data & Analysis
  • Experience in database development and data management: MS SQL Server, File store, Blob storage (Azure Storage)
  • Knowledge in data analysis: Queries, evaluations, structured data preparation
Desirable Additional Qualifications (Nice-to-have)
  • Experience with a global integration layer
  • Knowledge or practical experience with DEKRA internal development and operations processes, e.g.: ServiceNow, CIS, SVPA
  • Experience with complex enterprise integration landscapes
  • Understanding of regulatory or corporate IT standards
