Purpose of the Role
To strengthen our development team, we are looking for a UI-/UIX-oriented software developer (m/f/d) with experience in Angular and React, who develops modern, user-friendly web interfaces and consistently transforms design concepts into high-quality, maintainable UI components.
Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
  • Development and implementation of UI components in Angular and/or React
  • Translating design and UX specifications into functional, high-performance user interfaces
  • Ensuring a consistent user experience across different devices
  • Integration of REST/JSON interfaces at the UI level
  • Implementation of UI states (loading, error, empty, success)
  • Optimization of performance, usability, and accessibility
  • Maintenance and further development of component libraries / design systems
  • Close collaboration with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product owners
  • Quality assurance through testing, code reviews, and best practices

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, industrial engineering or a comparable professional qualification
  • Fluent English required; additional languages like German are a plus
Technical Requirements (Must-have):
Frontend & UI Fundamentals
  • Strong knowledge of: HTML5, CSS3 / SCSS, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript
  • Experience with responsive design (mobile/tablet/desktop optimization)
Framework Know-how (Angular and React)
Angular
  • Component and module architecture
  • Services, dependency injection, routing
  • Reactive forms
  • Basic knowledge of RxJS
React
  • Functional components
  • React Hooks (useState, useEffect, etc.)
  • State management (Context API and/or Redux/Zustand)
  • Routing (e.g., React Router)
UI/UX Competence
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles (usability, consistency, feedback)
  • Experience in implementing design specifications (e.g., from Figma, Adobe XD)
  • Understanding of accessibility (semantic HTML, focus management, keyboard navigation)
Interfaces & Integration
  • Experience in integrating REST/JSON APIs
  • Understanding of: HTTP status codes, Error and loading states, Asynchronous data processing
Desirable Additional Qualifications (Nice-to-have):
  • Experience with design systems or component libraries (e.g., Material, MUI)
  • Knowledge of frontend testing (Jest, Testing Library, Cypress)
  • Experience with Storybook for documenting UI components
  • Basic knowledge of CI/CD processes
  • Experience in enterprise or corporate environments
