Cyber Security Specialist

Your contribution to achieving global safety, security, and sustainability:
- Maintain and extend the security management toolset for regular scans of DEKRA’s IT infrastructure, cloud-based systems, and applications for vulnerabilities and configuration weaknesses
- Evaluate the severity of identified vulnerabilities and prioritize them based on potential impact
- Work with the IT teams to monitor mitigation or elimination of identified risks
- Keep track of new vulnerabilities and threads
- Work with the security operations team to support response to security incidents
- Create reports on cybersecurity vulnerability management status and KPIs
- Work with global infrastructure teams to implement cybersecurity best practices at DEKRA worldwide
The more points that apply to you, the more you can earn with us:
- Owning skills at least 2+ years’ experience with cybersecurity topics in enterprise IT infrastructures, security vulnerability management and threat intelligence, or comparable education background,
- Experience with Vulnerability Scanner Products, Microsoft Security Technologies, Scripting/Automation, international work experience is an additional benefit
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Very good English skills (German is an additional benefit)
